This policy describes how Lina Hadid, Av. de Provence 4, 1007 Lausanne, processes the personal data of the people who use this site. It applies from the moment you arrive on the site.

Legal framework

The processing of your data is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its ordinance (DPO). Where services whose servers are located in the European Union are used, the relevant requirements of the European regulation (GDPR) are taken into account in their selection and their configuration.

Data you send us

When you use the contact form: your first name, your surname, your email address, your telephone number if you choose to give it, and the content of your message.

When you book a first call: your name, your email address, your telephone number and the time slot chosen.

When you sign up for the newsletter: your email address.

When you write on WhatsApp, the exchange takes place on WhatsApp and is also subject to the privacy policy of its publisher.

Data collected automatically

Like any site, the server records technical connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, date and time. This data serves the operation and the security of the site.

What we do not collect

The site collects no health data, no banking data and no precise geolocation. The content of your exchanges with Lina Hadid within a support programme remains strictly confidential and falls outside the scope of this policy.

Purposes and legal bases

Responding to your requests, arranging appointments and following up the support: performance of the contract or pre-contractual measures taken at your request.

Ensuring the security and the proper functioning of the site: legitimate interest.

Sending you the newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Recipients

Your data is processed by Lina Hadid. It may be entrusted to technical providers acting on her behalf: the site host, the online booking service, the email sending service. These providers are bound by confidentiality and use your data only for the service concerned.

Your personal data is neither sold, nor rented, nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

Hosting and location

The data is hosted in Switzerland, with Infomaniak Network SA, in Geneva. Some technical providers may process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the European Union and in the United States. This is the case for the traffic measurement service, which is triggered only with your agreement.

Retention periods

Requests received through the form are kept for the time needed to handle them, then for two years for follow-up of the relationship.

Data linked to a support programme is kept for the duration of the relationship, then for the period imposed by accounting and legal obligations, namely ten years for accounting records.

Your newsletter subscription is kept until you unsubscribe.

The server’s technical logs are kept for a few months at most.

Your rights

You have a right of access to your data, of rectification, of erasure and of portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest and to withdraw a consent given.

Send your request to lina@mentalsofa.com. A reply reaches you within thirty days. Exercising your rights is free of charge.

If you consider that the processing of your data is contrary to the applicable law, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Cookies and local storage

The site uses your browser’s local storage to remember your theme choice, dark or light. This information stays on your device and is sent nowhere.

Strictly necessary cookies ensure the operation and the security of the site; they are essential.

Traffic measurement cookies measure visits to the site. They are placed only if you accept them, and the corresponding service stays inactive until you have authorised it. You can change this choice at any time by clicking “Cookies” at the bottom of the page.

The online booking service places its own functional cookies when you use it.

Security

Appropriate technical and organisational measures protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No transmission over the internet can, however, be guaranteed absolutely.

Minors

The support is intended for adults and, from the age of 14 completed, for minors holding written authorisation from their legal representative. This authorisation is requested before the first conversation.

For a minor, the legal representative receives the information relating to the processing of their data and exercises the rights described above.

These rights cover administrative data: identity, contact details, appointments, invoicing. The content of the conversations remains confidential, including towards the legal representative, who is on the other hand kept informed of the framework of the support and alerted without delay if the safety of the minor appears to be at stake.
